The best Menorah ever!
A moment of Jewish pride!
Baruch Hashem, this Menorah is better than any Menorah I've ever had!
Let me tell you why.
About a year ago, I had the honor of meeting Lt. Baker, a proud Jewish Airman at a US Air Force Base where I was stationed. We became friends and he started to attend my virtual “Thurs Night Torah class.” When Chanukah rolled around this year, he was deployed on a special mission. He messaged me asking about using an electric menorah. I sent him some links and explained how flames are the best way to do the Mitzvah of lighting the Menorah (safety permitting).
I didn't hear back from him for a few days. Then he sent me this, his own ingenious way of using tin foil to literally build his own Menorah.
See, THIS is what Chanukah is all about.
The love of our people to do Hashem's commandments!
To never let our circumstances dictate our destiny!
And to always go above and beyond to shine brighter than anyone thinks possible!
